Dog Sledding in Winter Park
Dog Sled Rides of Winter Park has 80 Siberian and Alaskan huskies. During the winter, the dogs pull sleds
in the the forests near Winter Park.
Their main tour is a 1 and a half hour, 9 mile trip in the woods outside of Winter Park. There is much
to see along the trip including 13 thousand foot peaks, the Continental Divide, Winter Park Ski Resort, moose,
lots of trees and of course lots of snow.
Their 30 minute trips and their one hour trips operate on the same trail system as their main trip, but with the
shorter time slot, you get to see a little bit less. These trips are great for those on a tight schedule,
or for younger riders who might get cold.
All the trips operate everyday except Tuesday. If there is a major holiday like Thanksgiving, Christmas,
New Years Day, Superbowl Sunday or Easter, we take off that day instead of Tuesday.
